I must say, though I haven't mentioned it yet, that the events of tuesday will say with us for the rest of our lives. And we find now and then for no good reason, a guy can figure out, life will just haul off and knock you down. Slam you hard against the ground, so hard, it seems like all of your insides are busted. But life's not all like that. A lot of it is pretty good. And you can't afford to waste the good part fretting about the bad. That makes it all bad. I guess when your heart gets broken, you sort of start to see the cracks in everything. But I'm convinced that tragedy wants to harden us, and that our mission is to never let it.
