What's Sera Myu?

From La * Soldier.

Well the Sailormoon Musicals, or Seramyu, are a very popular stage production that has been going on in Japan. The first Musical was back in the Summer of 1993, which was a crossover between the first season and Sailormon R. The Musicals are what's been keeping Sailormoon alive in Japan, and are still going on strong! Hopefully, they'll be carried out for a decade or more!

There is a lot of merchandise for the musicals, including videos and CDs, as well as stationary, keychains, dolls, books and more.

The songs that are in the musicals are always top quality and preformed well. Some people may think that the songs would be stupid, coming from a live action stage production and all, but they aren't! Does anyone remeber the Japanese episode of Sailormoon R where Usagi and Chibiusa battle the Wiseman in Sailormoon R? Well, you know that song that is played in the background; La Soldier? Well that song came from the Musicals! It was introduced in the first musical back in 1993, and has been in every musical as an encore ever since.
