Fascinating book comparing the Bible and archaeology.
First written in the 1950s and then updated in the 1980s, this book surveys many topics in the Bible and compares them to modern archaeological discoveries. From speculations on the flood to the manna of the Israelites, it covers a broad section of items which many people question about the Bible.
The first edition made many claims about definitive discoveries or answers to puzzles from the Bible. The second edition tempers them a little, but keeps the overall tone of positive support for the Bible as history.
